BIOGRAPHY

Cédric Viollet was born in a small town in the west of France. Skateboarding since age 13. He spent his time painting, traveling and studying history of Art.

Skateboarding has been a major influence for Cédric throughout his youth, therefor, in his first eight years as a photographer, he shot the daily life of skateboarders for national and international magazines. Since then his work has taken him to over 18 different countries around the world.

Now his work seamlessly straddles portraiture, documentary and fashion photography. He enjoys playing with contrasts and crossing genres both in the studio and on location.

He has gained great experience in his versatile work, his photographs were selected for several solo and group exhibitions in France, Germany and U.K and he regularly works with a wide range of commercial and editorial clients such as Nike, Honda, Davidoff perfume, Dries Van Noten, Jalouse, Sleek and Intersection.

Currently Cédric Viollet lives and works in Paris.
